You should treat the conditions as high. Doesn't matter what area, There has been alot of slide activity in the past couple of weeks. You can still have fun without climbing anything.

Saturday afternoon. Started out sunny this morning. Some clouds have rolled in this afternoon and it looks like it's snowing up top now. Family Fun Day at Lucille Cabin is on right now and it looks like there were going to be lots of families up there. Hopefully bbtoys remembers to take some pictures.

Our guests this weekend had a great day of riding on Renshaw yesterday and reported spring riding conditions. Things have hardened up a bit but there was a few inches of powder on top of the snow.

LOTS of safe riding areas up there - no need to take any chances. A bunch of very sad search and rescue workers headed to Valemount yesterday and today. It deeply affects these volunteers to go out on those types of calls. PLEASE PLAY SAFE - USE YOUR COMMON SENSE OUT THERE.

Ahhh, poor flat land guy, trail passes are all of 20 bucks a day get over it, pretty small price to pay for a day of fun. Been skiing lately, $60-$100 for a whole whopping 7 hours. I'm glad to pay the $20 if it keeps trails clear of debris, maybe a couple good groomed rides up a year, and maintenance work. Other than that you can't expect much of a trail in April. So stop being so uptight about 20 lousy dollars, s*it it's only 1/2 hours work.:d

Just got back from 3 days riding, weather was sure a mixed bag, little of everything thrown at you each day. Was really disappointed that the rumoured 18" of fresh posted earlier was nowhere to be found, although not surprised, as everywhere we went our tracks from last weekend were still visible with at best 2-3 inches of spring snow in the tracks. Snow has taken a real beating from last week as we found lots of open creeks and had to drive a km farther up the road to unload at one place. Trails proved quite a challenge at the lower levels as well as we were sinking to the running boards in lots of places. A few pics from the weekend.
