Just wondering if anyone has run the apache track system on the outlander 800's and how did it perform and any draw backs to running the track system.

Works great in the Snow. You can push snow with a blade and pile it like a dozzer. Draw Backs 1-only can be used in winter 2-Cuts your top speed in half. Try to buy the studded ones and you won't loose traction on ice. Put your tires on for summer and you will have way more fun. I had Matt Tracks on mine 800 as well, but the BRP tracks are way better in the snow.

Thanks for the insite on the track systems, not sure if I am going to buy them or not lots of money to hand out and maybe cheaper to buy a used sled.

I had the apache system on an 800 outlander. Works great up to about 3 feet of snow. If your riding off trail watch for logs, they are hell, front goes over, rear goes under, also had the misfortune of putting her through the ice on a creek, 4 of us nearly had a hernia getting her out.
Tracks are definately a completely different ride. Ill do it again.
