No we don't. I have extras to put on but I want to weigh it before I do any work on it. Just curious about your XM. I haven't seen one yet. Once I have mine we will need to discuss time and place.

I'm not nervous otherwise I wouldn't be offering up my scale. I know its going to be lighter. But there are many factors equally important as weight. I'm just curious how much lighter. Because its not 60lbs

From Snowest, just like Trench mentioned earlier. This was weighed by Carl's Cycle (yes a Poo dealer), this number is accurate to other's have weighted. These are all without fuel, since they all have different capacities and in brackets are what they calculate to with fuel at a density of 6 lb/gal for fuel.

Weighed the 2013 PRO today- REAL weight 16lbs lighter - SnoWest Snowmobile Forum

2013 PRO 155" 438 lbs, without fuel... (507lbs 100% full of fluids "11.5 gallons of gas")
2012 PRO 155" 454 lbs, without fuel... (523lbs 100% full of fluids "11.5 gallons of gas")
2012 M8 153" 496 lbs, without fuel... (560lbs 100% full of fluids "10.6 gallons of gas")

Yup there's no denying they're light, who's got the XM on the scales in the spring? Someone must have in the spring?

How much fuel do the XMS hold ??

10.6 gallons on the XM 800's:

So the 2013 Summit XM 154X weighs 459lb dry. Add 10.6gals of gas and it's at 523lbs. Add coolant, oil in shocks, antifreeze and chaincase oil and that should get the answer!

So its more like 30lbs difference wet. Not 60lbs. Then subtract the extra weight from the taller lug wider track of the doo and our outrageously large exhaust can and now its more like 20lbs. + 10 hp for the etec and voila. Who friggn cares lol

When you actually weigh one please post.

2012 XP 154" was weighed by Carl's Cycle and came in at 501lbs (he didn't say SP or X, I'll assume an X to be conservative). The dry weight on the Ski-doo website claims 459lb for the 154"X which is identical to the 2013 XM 154"X. So 501lbs + (10.6gal X 6 lbs/gal) = 565lbs

So the XM is 58lbs heavier (565-507).

Math is neat...

It holds 11.5 G of fuel. @ 6.125 lbs per gallon. Should be just under that 500lb mark ready to ride.

Or is he saying that if you put the doo track and can on the poo, it too would have 10 hp more to?? Oh the internet is a fun thing : )

dont forget the etec will run way further on the 10.6 gallons of fuel then the poo 11.5 gallons. So to even it out you will prob need to add atleast 3 gallons to the poo to make the same distance. thats 18lbs!

I ride an etec and dont drag extra fuel all over anymore.

That's a very valid point.
