Anyone use an ultrasonic cleaner on clutches?

Anyone use one? One big enough for a clutch would be a few hundred and up but if it does a good job I would like to get one.

We sent some filters out to a guy with an ultrasonic cleaner to save us time on cleaning. Wasn't worth the hassle of driving them to the city. Just put in the elbow grease IMO.

You have to send the wife shopping for a few hours first. Also no detergent, it will ruin the aluminum.

I have a small one from harbor freight. It does a good job on aluminum carb bodies.

I was looking into those little ones, it'd be handy for small bits off the car from time to time.

Yes it works pretty good. Reloaders love them it cleans the brass casings amazingly good

I use one for cleaning spent casings, but it isn't big enough for clutch sheaves. I imagine it would work well.

What's wrong with the old fashioned way, hit it with brake clean, paper towel, scotch pad and compressed air?
