Looked up Nitto Denko and maybe this info might help narrow it down. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitto_Denko

My guess is a retainer plug for insulation or wiring. Good luck. I am sure most of us will want to know what it is and the one or two who do know will watch everyone else guess :)

Maybe send a pic to your dealer and he can email the pic to engineering at BRP. They will get you an answer.

Maybe part of the air valve on the air box ! Also could be part of assembly process ! ?? Had same issue last year - got stuck and easiest way to get unstuck was to roll the sled ! upon rolling the sled, heard a clunking noise coming from inside engine area ! Got sled on its skis again and then opened side panels up and looked around for what had made the noise ! Found a special shock adjusting tool - been wedge somewhere on sled for 3500km - came loose somehow when I / we rolled the sled !
