Oops I mean idler wheels. A buddy of mine has about 200 miles on his 09 Dragon and the sliders are just about shot. Was thinking a set of idlers would take some pressure off and maybe not generate so much heat. The 09 RMK version has three sets, can't imagine too many downsides of putting them on.
Any feedback would be great, buy from Polaris or aftermarket?

A guy had to put on 4 idler wheels just for that reason, I think a set of 4 are $144.00 or close to it.

He may want to put down the ice scratchers that are on them they really help lubricate the sliders and help with the life span and keep the engine running cooler.

I just worn out a set of hifax's on my 08' D8 @ 2400 kms, scratchers always down on the trail, sometime's even in reverse.

That seems pretty good for a set of sliders. 1300 miles on my sliders on my 07 Dragon. I hear that scratchers work awesome in reverse:d

Just bought a set from the dealer, $139.99 for all six wheels and hardware. Pretty heavy, must have weighed a whole 2 pounds (lol). Hopefully this solves his problem.
