anyone paint a gas can for sled

Has anyone painted their gas can and got their paint to stay on and not peel off, if so what did you use.

Got almost a full season out of 'painting' with a very large Sharpie marker...worked better than the paint and was easy to touch up

mountain addiction is the company. they might make them for your sled I'm not sure.

i used black vinyl dye in a can would scrap off but better than paint. Like the marker idea too

So how many of those SnowCats doo you have now?

I read somewhere that you didn't ride much this past winter. Were you too busy working again?

Haha, just the one still...We had another one bought in Colorado, but we backed out just in time. Barely put any hours on the old girl this winter, but did learn how to fix and maintain it all on my own. We did a fair bit of damage to it and wore out lots of parts last winter but we managed to do all the repairs and service ourselves. They are complex machines...I know you know this...

And sadly, you heard correct, had the worst season ever this year. Got out 2 whole days with the girls this season, and that was it. I likely have the newest 2011 on the planet, less than 200km on it haha. Not even broke in...

try the under coating from canadian tire i sprayed the wheel wells on my trailer 5 years ago and it is still on only problem it only comes in black

There's a company out there making sled wraps that also makes them for gas cans. I think they're called

i can get variuos sizes of gas cans, and just about any colour you desire















as long as it's red, how many you need?

Get some plastic/vinyl dye paint. It bonds to the plastic and will not come off. You will pay for it through the nose though, but it is the only thing that will last.
