Anyone order from Skidoo.com?

How long does it take, usually? Going on 2 weeks now, and still the only status on the order is "Preparing for pickup"...hasn't changed.

When you order from a doo dealer they are just dooing the typing for you on the same website. I have ordered from both and arrived same day.

all that site does is send the order to your closest dealer. Until the dealer opens the link on Bossweb and confirms the order and processes it, it sits there doing nothing. If you have more than one dealer in your local area it goes to all of them. the first dealer to click on and accept it gets the order. then the parts are shipped from brp to that dealer. that dealer then re sends them to the person that did the initial order. At least this is how it works on the east coast. Designed for people that don't have time to drive to their local dealer, or live far from their local dealer and want their stuff shipped directly to their address.
I order all my stuff from riverside or gibbons motor toys. if available from brp, always have with in 3 to 5 days. Both those dealers give awesome parts service.

I tried but when I selected pick up at dealer the message was......no participating dealer in your area. Then I stopped in at blow cycle and the part was 1.5 times what was listed on the brp site. This post will be removed because I call them blow cycle lol

Yes the dealership does have to be set up for this. The dealerships don't have to honour the price on the website either. If the dealer bought the part a year ago lets say for 20 bucks but this year it sells for 15 the dealer would lose money. Not always fair

So...if i haven't even been billed yet....does that mean the dealer that it was supposed to go to hasn't bothered to process it?
I did it because i first asked the dealer to do me a quote on the parts, and they took my info and said they'd get back to me...
nothing...
we only have one doo dealer that's reasonably close...so I then bought some other parts from them, and the parts were all listed cheaper on the doo site...:/
So I ordered all the stuff to finish my 13 on the doo site...around $900 of stuff..and here i wait....
Guess i'll call the 1-800 number tomorrow and see whats up. :/

I have a couple times. If it shows available on there website than it is within 3-5 business days shipping I found. Only once I had to call, turns out it was delivered, post man didn't leave the. Price on the door. All my stuff has come from riverside in Edmonton every time.

You get a confirmation when ordering from skidoo, it will say what dealer it left from and the date. As well another confirmation when it has shipped with a tracking number. If in doubt, just call the dealer that it was shipping from.

With a big order like that it wouldn't surprise me if something was on back order.

I have had nothing but positive experiences ordering online. As someone mentioned it beats paying msrp plus 15% at a certain Calgary based dealership. All my stuff comes from riverside as well. I usually see it in about 3-5 business days which is every bit as good as ordering it from the dealer. The only drawback is you have to pay shipping and it can add up on physically large or heavy orders but it's a lot less stressful than going into that dealer.

Sooooo it's been sitting there since the 9th!!!!!!
stopped in to order clutch cover, and asked when i might expect it....she's like...ummm it's here...we called you 2x. They used an old number i had, and 'Shopatron' dropped the ball. I got an e-mail once i got home with the parts, that they would be available for pickup today! Hooray. haha! Should have bugged them sooner!

All my experiences with SkiDoo.com have been positive. I too have got everything from Riverside. I found I could get it faster from SkiDoo.com than from my dealer. If my dealer doesn't have it in stock, I order from SkiDoo.com, plain and simple.
