anyone know what suspension this is ?

i looked at the expert x but it has alot different geometry setup than the one i have. it has two coilovers not shown conected to the rear mount facing backwards and connect to the rails on the outside

Its an Ekholm skid, from Larry Nielsen from Ekholm Ind. he used to be in Summerland. Hands down the best powder skid you can possibly buy. Have run them in many sleds, and they work unbelievably well in the deep pow. They make a 144 perform more like a 159. Plus it was 27lbs lighter than my Rev skid was.....

Thats quite the attack angle. Are you sure it works good?

2 sets of hands helps a ton.... I forget what the dimensions are for the 4 bolt holes, but you can place them low in the tunnel, and get the track way down in the snow. The tunnel usually sits about 4-5 inches higher than with the stock skid.

The first few paddles that touch the snow are actually lifting the sled up on top of the snow. In the deep bottomless snow, it works 10 times better than any stock skid I've seen. I've gone back to back from stock to that skid, and it works.

I just put one in my 700 rmk , before i drop and rolled it i think i used the factory front hole , I will look tomorrow and take some measurements and pictures for ya . I just tryed it out in 3 feet of snow wow does it work good and as mtnmaster says it is 27 pounds lighter than stock , a lot easyer to lift

i watched one of those skids fail pretty hard this weekend. could be how he had it setup maybe. wouldnt touch the same stocker machine in a climb. not sure about deep powder

pure addiction motor sports builds these skids now in edmonton. i put one inmy turbo m7 and it works way beter than stock in deep pow.

It must have been the set-up. They have a tendency to wheelie badly if not dialed in properly.
