I have a SnoPro sport deck and with the rails retracted to fit a 5.5' box the ramps when tucked away underneath are too long that they stick out and don't allow the tailgate to close! Anyone else have this issue and what was your fix??

Yeah I had that issue on my ram just cut
Two 2"x6" pieces across from each support column, drill holes thru board & mount deck on top & u should
Have enough clearance for tailgate to shut but deck will sit a little higher then usual or cut ramp :)

Thanks for the reply!
Both of those things were something I had in mind but I was just trying to avoid having the deck any higher then it already is!
Do you have any pictures from the side of your truck just to see how high the deck sits??

I would also like to know! And if I can pull a 4 place in closed at the same time while drinking beer and wearing my white sunglasses with my hat on side ways?!?!?

I have a 2011 dodge crew cab 5.5 box with a Marlon 6.5 sled deck. I haul 2 sleds on it all the time. I don't have any problems at all. Just drive to conditions and you'll be fine. I have super springs in the rear no air bags. Marlon also makes a ramp for the 5.5 box it's what came with mine.

There's a bunch of us that actually do give a fawk! It's not legal and not safe to be overloading any kind of truck and sharing the roads with me and my family.
**** guys lay off, the guy asked about blocking his deck up so the ramps don't hit the tailgate, not what u losers think about half tons & sled decks, I run one & don't give a **** what u guys think 

Cant say I have ever seen a jacked up 1 ton dually welding truck over loaded. Cause that seems to be like a uniform for them guys. Must be really heavy welders to over load a truck that have a ~6-8000lb bed capacity. I leant something today

How do you guys like your decks?? I have the Polaris one which is the exact same as a Sno-Pro, and a friend who is also a member on here has one and he loves it. Nicest headache rack of any deck, but what is the deal with the ramps?? If you want to sell your ramps because they wont fit in your truck let me know, as mine collapsed.

Not sure where you are but most welded around here are srw. Quite a few have 3/4 tons as well.
