Just curious if anyone's tried or had any luck with a Dayco belt on there 850 . I have not had a belt last longer than 600km for me , even with the updates and updated belts on my 17 . Bought a Dayco to give it a shot !

We run them on our 850 rentals, so far no issues

Over 50 bucks cheaper does add up

Well unfortunately that belt only lasted about 60km . Broke it in nicely on the trail up Eagles , let it cool at the cabin for half an hour then , then putter to the test . Had the deflection said pretty well right at the cord line, in other words the lower valley ribs in the belt just a hair above flush with the clutch .

Did you blow any belts last year? Is it better or worse this year?

Mir sure your not slipping belt in secondary, last time we were at Eagles, we looked at a few 850s at the cabin and each one had rubber deposits on bottom of secondary.. Quick indication belt is slipping and needs heavier secondary spring..

Since i I did the heavier spring, able to pull a 47 helix now as well.. Much quicker acceration
