I can throw my .02 in, I reno'd the bathrooms in our house. Tile floor and a tile showerstall

Here's mine, can't really see the floor tile though. I'd never tried doing a wall before, stress level was high.

I have tiled 8 or 9 top to bottom showers. definitely willing to offer what I can.

Hey guys thanks I was just wondering if you've ever used Schluter Kerdi system, and if you have, what kinda Mortar would you recommend and how does it work thanks

when you glue the kerdi to what ever substrate you have be it concrete board, drywall and/or green board use a non modified thin set. when you glue your tile to the kerdi use a modified thin set. the non modified is for between non porous surfaces and the modified for porous surfaces.

I had a friend, do the board work. It's dens shield. And then I had to put the bladder behind it It's definitely a art for sure. My patience wouldn't work. But in the end it's worth paying for. I love that shower

Ultraflex LFT is best I think. Has build up strength where most don't..
