Hey gang. Got the new-to-me tractor and been playing dirtmover/landscaper/farmer the last few days. Actually getting pretty good with the bucket...built up a 30x13 parking pad for the RV beside the garage and I've spread a bunch of topsoil. ANYWAYS....I have a bucket and a box blade, but I am going to need a seeder/spreader some harrows and probably a roller of some sort to get the final ground ready for grass. Sure, I could just go buy them...but after the next few weeks (assuming it drys up some day) I will never need them again. So just wondering if anyone has already been down this path and has these tools rusting behind their shop somewhere and might want to help a brother out.

Awesome! I am waiting for road bans to come off now....I have a bit more I can move around, then I will be in need of gravel, then a couple of loads of topsoil. I will borrow Imdooin's harrows since he's good and close....then when I'm ready, I'll come borrow the roller and maybe a drag. Appreciate it!

You will need a couple of drag harrows,FOR LIFE.......just sayin. Also the rene will pull them way better(faster) than your wife`s "QUAD".
Two side by side and then finnish with one behind the other, extra weight to start then less as you get closer to seeding......

Get it smooooooth before you seed, and NEVER ant thing more narrow than a ridem mower can sqeeze thru......

Helpful tips,for a new farmer......
