Just finished up the last of this year’s sauerkraut. 23 gallons worth in all, just under 200lbs of cabbage. Grandpa passed away a few years ago and so Grandma has given me all the stuff and now I give her some sauerkraut in return each year. I’ve enjoyed experimenting with some different vegetables and varying the ferment time - really amazing how many different flavours you can get.
This is a picture of some we tried with carrot this year. Ended up with just over 100 of these containers this year. Wife will be happy for the house to start smelling normal again now haha!
