Any Interest In "snow&mud" Camp Weekend???

Just Wondering If There Was Any Interest In A Camping, Quadding, Biking, 4x4 Weekend In July/august Sometime?? The Idea Would Be To Go To An Open Campground(there's A Place South Of Drayton Valley And You Can Quad Or Motorbike From The Campground To Miles Of Trails- Think Its Called Emtee Town)
Of Course We'd Get Snow&mud To Donate $thousands Towards The Weekend(just Kidding Ron).:d :d
I Think It Would Be Fun........ Post Your Interest Or Not, Please.

Are you referring to Emtee town, Ive been there, 2 yrs ago. Great quadding, im not sure if you can atv from the property, I had to trailer out. There is issues with the guy who owned the land they were driving through. Lots of Mud. We would have to see about reserving a whole section. And Im in Big Valley Jamboree the August long weekend so if we have it then I could not attend.

Yea, That's The Name Of It..... Emtee Town. I Just Threw That Out As An Example.... There's Always The "dunes" Past Hinton(i Think Catmandoo's Home Area??) Just Need To Know How Much Interest And Then We Could Find A Location.

I'd be interested, of course I wouldn't be quadding or biking as I don't own either. But would definately be interested in coming out. Any weekend I get offered to go camp I generally take up. If you need help with planning etc let me know Ric.

Summer weekend

Im interested. If Hinton area is ok there is a area 30 minutes south of hinton along the Gregg River called Gregg River group camp. This area has Quad access right from the campsite. Designated trails and LOTS of other trails all the way from pipelines to cutlines to old logging trails all accessed from this campsite or many random sites that could hold quite a few rigs. I camp in that area every year and know some trails well. Group camp has a very large shelter for socialilizing in at night or whenever (rain).

Summer Weekend

I'm very interested. We quad alot south of Robb in Grave Flats. Lots of random camping, can be tough to get to with R.V.'s. We stayed at Emtee Town a few years back. It's too small for a large group. You have to pay admission to their old town even if you do not plan to visit. Good quadding in the area. We have spent some time west of Rocky Mountain House, east of Nordegg. Lots of open random camping (site of an old mining town), easy to get to, just off the Highway. Maybe a better location for some of our southern members.

I am interested for sure. Have a golf tourny that I look after the weekend of July 28 and will be here for a while before and after that weekend. Barry

All over it! I would love to join a group camp out...lol I dont have a trailer but I do have dirt bikes and tents! The better half would love the idea of a camping and mud flinging weekend!

Well I guess it couldn't have been that bad...There was "Polaris" in it!

Wow.That was quick response,a good one at that.I know a place outside of Hinton that will accomidate huge groups and it is really nice.It is all grass and also on Crown land.We go there almost every year and meet up with high school buddies and so on!You can ride right from your door to an endless amount of trails.All the kids can ride around in the middle of the field and be watched from your lawn chair!There is usually 10 or 15 lrg groups there and still a ton of room.It is about 5 klms out of Hinton and it is not advertised so if you dont know where it is you wont find it.I will see if I can find some pics,especially the one of my buddies 4 yr old motocrosser in action out there!
