Does anybody know any good mods for a 1999 Polaris Indy 550 Super Sport?

The only after market parts I have on it are 20 over ProX pistons and rings.

Legit question - how much money you got? 600 or 800 motor would be the best bet, but if you are funds limited, then longer and taller track is going to be the best.

Good idea Modman,my friend had a 300 Tundra that he put a 2” track for his boy they rode a lot in the Pine Pass.

I never personally never seen it but some guy in the interior had a 485 FC Phazer with 4-1/2” plastic paddles,the guys on the big Mod Sleds at the time said it was nearly unstoppable,not fast but this was when if you moving in the Deep Stuff you were a Rock Star!

I think it was a 1980, belonged to my son, yes I did the tunnel and suspension, 1-1/2" drop and roll, 2" X 36", Mountain Max track

Those bigger tracks on smaller lighter sleds really shine crawling around in the deep stuff.When I built my 2nd Indylite,I redisigned a aluminum bulk head rolling the chain case forward 2” was a blast to ride.Had a 16”x144” 2” on that one.

i helped a fellow about 4 yrs ago with a 90s 488 trail put twin AAEN pipes on, took it for a full throttle ride and checked the plugs.little tan color..so instead of jetting.he would add a few cups of injector oil to the gas..his son still rides it today..i never did ask if it was any faster,but it sounds great his son says.. not cheap..but available http://www.aaenperformance.com/polaris.asp
