Tell me more of this... lighter?
Trust is now temporarily out of business due to covid supply problems.
The linkage fork idea is not new, street bikes have been using them for a while.
They work very differently from a regular fork. No brake or front end dive when cornering or when riding steep terrain.
Down side is it is not as plush on small bumps. Works really good on big hits.
I used one last year for a few weeks, was a great fork but I wasn't going to spend the $1700 to keep it.
Dave Weigle is the engineer behind the company, he is a suspension master specialist.

Old fat guy bike. Maverick distributing. I just bought 2 bikes. Rigid frames. Called AMPER’UP they have a few models. Ours were $1800 each. They work so good and Super fast. Definitely wouldn’t wanna be flying off a jump with it but they haul ass on gravel trails with giant tires on them everything feels like pavement. We’ve used ours every day since we got them LOL tons of fun.

Went too maverick dist today too look at ebikes, waste of time, like the bike as they have one on display. Can only buy there if your a legit company, don’t know how you got yours but hook me up as they are back ordered till likely the end of July. Wholesale only!

I ordered a couple of Giant's on March 4th. Delivery at that time was scheduled for the 18th week which, according to the sales person, was the first week in May. At the time, I didn't ask how they counted the weeks and took him at his word regarding early May. There were problems with lots of recreational toys arriving on time and even some not arriving. I wasn't in a panic in March and basically said, "it is what it is!"

Went down to the store on Saturday and delivery is now pushed back to week 27 which is well into July. Going to be interesting to see if we even get them this summer. Darn good thing I didn't sell our old bikes.

Yes, I wanted to buy from local dealer to support local. It would be nice to have them already but I will wait as there is a waiting list.
You went to Straighline I assume? I purchased a couple Giant Trance X2's from Nakoda in January and he was awesome.

I'm in Salmon Arm now. Skookum Cycle and Ski is the local dealer.

Did you have to pay for them up front? One advantage of waiting is you may have avoided the pst if they aren't paid for yet.

Any accounting types know if there's any way of getting the pst back that we paid on ours earlier in the year?

Just a $500 deposit on each bike. Is Horgan looking for more votes and thinking he is doing us a favour??

I’m sure at the bike prices there will be a backlash on pst rebates. I would really like my $700 bucks back.
