Hey guys another slightly related question, do the pro ride covers fit the axys? Like i know they would go over the sled, but if the side panels are loose af and just flapping everywhere on the deck i dont want to keep it

They fit good, I’m running the cover off my 2015 on my 2019.

There are several reasons to not pay more for a 850 and the money is a huge one. Holdover 800’s 19/20’s can be had as cheap as $11k for a select depending on options. The 3 year warranty offer is good as well.

A new 850 snowcheck is going to run you $17-$18ish. Never mind a $3000 difference, is it worth upwards of $7000 more? Not so sure about that especially if you don’t need to be on the latest and greatest. Inventory on those hold overs is going to go down quickly with competitive pricing. But you can throw a turbo on there and still leave money in your pocket.

Personally I would have no problems grabbing a 19/20 800. I still like how the 800 revs up quicker and since 18 they have been fairly bullet poof. I might still do that if I don’t order a snowcheck and I haven’t felt like I can’t keep up on my little 800 the last few winters.

Bumping the thread cause kind of curious, as well as slightly off topic question: At the end of the day is the 850 that much better to spend the extra loot on it? Looking at getting into a Khaos next season and there are quite a bit of new 2020 800s around the province. I want the new front end, but not sure if it is worth spending the extra $3000+ on snow checking to get the 850

Yeah I have this issue as well. Definitely more slop in steering, both turning bars and pulling up/down on post. Probably has something to do with hitting various trees with the skis?

Oft racing has better steering blocks.

With the engine mounting on the 850’s they are way easier on belts, especially if they are both have turbos.

I’m kind of tossing up the idea of a new sled as well. I found a 21 163 3” at a dealer in qnl for 16,9.

Dealer said they can add new quick drive for 450$.

How come these things are so friggen pricey lol In 15 I bought a leftover pro 800 163 for 13,600 otd from the same dealer

CAD to USD. In 2013 it was at par, today a loonie buys $0.76 US. Way less buying power with our dollar now. Accounting for that the price is almost the same.

Keep in mind that 2021 will likely be the last year of the Axys Chassis, sounds like the Matryx chassis will move to the RMK's for 2022.
