Hello i want to buy a renegade but i have a few questions. what is the better choice to buy a 2012 1000 or a 2010 xxc 800 with 400km? i just cant afford 15 000 for a quad. does any one have any input? are the xxc packages worth the extra? how good are the shocks?

Well...on the 2012 the XXC is the only way to get power steering and the QE viscolock diff. The shocks are pretty sweet....about 1700 bucks to buy separately, but for me they are kinda wasted 'cause I'm gonna mud the he!! outta this thing.

I know BRP made power steering....but not sure what models had it. I know for certain that on the 2012's, the standard Renny 1000 gen2 does not have PS or Visco QE or reservoir shocks.

A buddy of mine has a 2010 xxc for sale...power steering, low km, something around the 400km mark. $10,500.
