Anyone spending Christmas out at sled camp. If not Christmas I was thinking New Years.

Took the kids out to sled camp this weekend. Was a beauty weekend. Changed plug on generator, tried a new power pack out on the bus, cut and split more wood, then burned said wood. Groomer is still down from what I’m told. I don’t have the Facebook but talked to some buddy’s. Trail is starting to get punched out. Could use some more snow.

It could very well have been. Pretty sure there seeing a record amount of sledders too. Stetson was stupid going in and out. Guys without radios.

You'd have to get ahold of the Swan City Snowmobile club, Facebook might be the best place to try, but I would imagine all the spots are taken already for the winter.

I'm a Pinepass guy... but if you're going in on the weekend this year, let me know. Its been a while since I rode Kakwa. My best Bud's Dad use to put camp in at Border Town. He has since passed. I have a ton of Friends who still ride Kakwa. Maybe get in to Mt Sir Alexander. She's a beauty!

Forsure. If i get a spot ill probably be in there for a month at least, and i dont know many sledders in the area, so ill be down to ride! Hopefully there is cell service or ill need a star link.

There was never cell service at the staging area before? Spotty on the way in on the Two Lakes Rd. Someone who has been riding Kakwa recently may be able to chime in.

No cell service . Km 132 ish on Two Lakes is about the last spot .
Have to use other sources .
