Got boost want snow

Well camp set is on Saturday. Hopefully we get copious amounts of fresh powder and beautiful bluebird days.
There is some nasty washed out areas, that being said I've seen stock 4x4 pickups out there. A quad is easily the best way to go.I have a non sled related question. How hard is it to drive to Kakwa falls? The bit of research I've done says the last 20km is the difficult part and you have to wait until late summer/fall so the streams are low. But how rough is it?
Put camp in yesterday. Road is rough from the Stetson in but it’s all froze up good. Was a beauty day. Will probably take a jag of wood in next weekend.
Where is this camp located? Good mountain riding there? Looking like the bc border for us to go to blue this year is going to be closed until at least January. Needing another place to ride. Any info would be great.
What’s this area called?
Broooooooo. It’s kakwa.
ASA Trail pass is required for using the trails on the AB Side is it not?
It’s big like renshaw. Maybe bigger. 1.5 hour drive from the pavement. Then from the staging area to the lake is 46 km. That’s when you start riding. The staging area is surrounded by sled camps. Pulled in and out every fall and spring. Full size log cabin on kakwa lake that’s the warming shed. Any kind of riding you want is there. Sled camp numbers are in the 110-130 range I believe. Maybe someone else can chime in on the exact number.
Is there anyone that rents out their camps?
