2 CF-18’s were scrambled from Cold Lake ( https://cabinradio.ca/120820/news/p...oot-down-small-cylindrical-object-over-yukon/ ) and two US F-22‘s. The news outlets are saying that whichever jet had the best shot, take it.
Chief of the Defence Staff Gen. Wayne Eyre added that the instructions given to the pilots of the aircraft — two F-22s and two CF-18s — was for “whoever had the first best shot” to take it.
