Thanks for all the info. Ended up I found a 2013 ski doo summit x with 2600 km on it and t motion with the 154 track paid 4500 bucks for it. Looks pretty good. We will see how it rides compared to the Polaris. Hoping it should be fun in the trees
Just got back from Fernie this weekend and rode the doo both days really enjoyed it I may be a convert now. Had a lot of fun on it when my 12 year old wasn’t riding it. He was able to toss it more than his m6. May be looking for another doo next year lol
I just sold my old M7, what gets me is a really nice sled is not worth much compared to an 10 year old trail bike, which seems to be worth half the price of a new one and they always say, (needs some work).!!
Dirt bike prices are crazy. Neighbour paid 4300 for a 2004 cr 250 and thought it was a sweet deal. That’s a 14 year old bike that only cost just over 6000 new. Seen a 1985 cr80 for $1800 bet that bike wasn’t that much new lol
Your neighbor paid too much for that bike, unless it was in mint condition. The older CR's do have some value since they stopped making them. Last year i picked up a 2014 KTM 350sx-f that was nearly new(nubs were still on the tires) for $5600. A friend has a 2014 Honda crf250r listed for $4800 and its mint with some great extras. Good prices are out there for sure.
As far as used sled prices go, the non current blow out prices are a huge part of the problem. I have seen 2017 Axys' with 750-1000 km listed for what i paid for a 2018 in February. The same sled would have cost me $17500 in November was $14500 in February. It's pretty messed up actually.
I bought a new 1984 yz 80 for $1100. Saved my paper route money all year to get it.Dirt bike prices are crazy. Neighbour paid 4300 for a 2004 cr 250 and thought it was a sweet deal.
