Aluminum Foam Divider Under the Hood.

I was just wondering if it is beneficial to take out the the aluminum divider under the headlight that hangs down from the top, has foam on one side. I have read that guys with the XP's remove all foam and shrouds under the hood.

yanked mine, i as told its mostly for sound controll, either way its a pain in the ass, way easier to get at the y pipe and rave valves with out it in there,

I left mine in. Next time I have to work on it I might take it out . Rest of the foam is all gone.

pulled mine out.

Pull them out if you don't get a lot of powder snow. Left the shroud in mine.
