Alumiduty and Sled decks

Alright fella's I pulled the trigger on a 2019 CCLB. Single wheel alumaduty,
gonna pick out a new 8ft deck in the next couple weeks, in my 11 dodge (6'4" box, 7ft deck) I had it bolted through the box with 4x6" plates from the bottom in all 4 corners then turn buckles in the front two corners as well. What's everyone doing in their alumadutys?
I will for sure be putting either ply wood or a high density rubber mat under each leg, new deck will most likely either be a marlon or old style (non truckboss) marathon.

I have an older marathon in 19 crew super duty (shortbox) I had aluminum pads cut out to space the deck up two inches since these newer superduty’s have a deeper box.

I'm running an older Marlon in mine, base is the same as the new ones. Bolted through the box with 1/2 SS bolts, nylock nuts on the bottom. I used sport mat rubber to fill in between the ribs of floor of the bed and 3/4 plywood plates on top. The sport mat helps the plywood to sit flat. I also have 3/4 plywood squares underneath on bottom side of the bed. This is the third season like this.

Have seen a few lately... Both had 3/4" plywood on the truck bed with the deck on top..

I used a deck on and off in my 17 i put 1 inch plywood down and have had no issues

Buckled to start and then I bolted it later on

I’m using the factory 5th wheel mounts with gooseneck safety chain eyelets, chain and lifting eyes for my marathon deck on my 2019. I have 2x6’s under each leg. Hasn’t budged a bit since I put it on in the fall.

I don't have a Ford, but I use 12" squares of 3/4" plywood under the feet of my Full Lotus in a '19 Chev. Bolted through the box with 1/2" bolts. If it's bolted, my insurer (SGI, have it in writing) considers it part of the truck and it's insured in case of accident. If it's turnbuckled, it needs to be insured separately.

I’d definitely put wood or something under the feet for a new superduty from having owned a few of them.
Would think you could use the 4 box link points plus the 4 old style tie down points to hold in the deck, with 8 points it would be solid I bet no need to bolt in.

I have a 2019 short box. My deck doesn't have legs, more so a frame that runs the length of the box. I used to turnbuckle it, but it seems the Alumaduty has a lot more flex than my 11 F350 lol. I had a buddy weld a frame in the middle of the deck that utilizes the Ford factory 5th wheel prep package, the same parts used to secure your 5th wheel hitch. I drop the deck in, turn the "pucks" and its secure. I still use the turn buckles but more just for stability.
