Slowly turning a great country into a regulated police state. Do gooders doing good.
The smart people of the land do not have to read this, Canada does not keep stats for atv injuries but the yankies do. You have a 11% chance of a head injury and a 41% chance of torso upper extremity injury on these machines if you do not drink. This changes if you are a drinker, for some reason drunks have a 40% chance of a head injury. So drunks should wear a helmet and non drinkers should wear chest protectors.
I personally where a helmut, but it should be riders choice if your over 18,mandatory for under 18 its your head you get hurt oh well don't complain then. Also what is Albert going to do to enforce it they cant enforce it in town let alone out of town and in the bush
I think they are wasting time and money once again. Either put it into law or don't but don't waste our tax dollars doing ****ing studies that probably cost millions and still get them any further ahead.
They should educate the masses instead. Show people the implications of head injuries, while their at it, get riders to wear goggles as well.
Riding these last few days I would say we saw more people without helmets that ever before.
We always wear them. I think it should be manditory.
ya but how do you enforce it? You know as well as i do... 4 quadders hit an srd road check they all turn around and ride the other way if they know they are getting a ticket...
