What`s going on with their trail?
Our system is intact, however we are dealing with an anti-snowmobile council. We have had a 300m portion of our trail closed, without notice or democratic process, which connected our trail to the lake beside a lake village, this caused everyone to detour with their machines down the main street of the village. surveys have been done and the conclusion has been the same, re-open the trail however they are doing everything in their power to stall the inevitable, one resident and one councillor can cause a mountain of headache for the masses.
Luckily we do have a vast area of undeveloped SRD land up by Stanger hills devoid of any residence which we can use to continue our growth.
Said resident need to be re-located? Said Councillor need to be reminded about votes?
Maybe it's time to do a Freedom Of Information peak into their expenses. We have seen small town council after small town council shamed in this province over the last few years, when expenses were looked into.
To me, sure sounds like something funny going on.
Anyone from the club approach said neighbour directly and find out what the issue is and educate him?
I live in Alberta beach and I'll still ride the trails , been for years not letting this asso stop me
I'm happy to say the long fight for our little trail has come to an end. The trail is open again. Thanks to all who called, emailed and supports the clubs.
So are the trails open there?
Silly question... How does one go about riding on another clubs trails? I live in morinville and am getting back into sledding. I usually just ditch bang or go wherever, but how would I be able to obtain permission to use say your trails?
