I went to the assembly... Quite a few protesters, even a small group of NDPee faithful were there(badly outnumbered)... Probably 500 to 1000 on hand, even though media said several hundred... Had to be at least 15 bus loads from all across Alberta

So all those years the Alberta govt told their residents all is very well and it wasn't? And now it's the inheriting govt's fault?

Not at all, but it sure doesn't help when they came in and started tossing around a royalty review and a carbon tax when oil and gas were headed for bottom. Everyone knows a commodity based economy is going to have highs and lows, but the WORST thing you can do is destabilize the situation even more. Steady and consistent pulls you through. Not knee-jerk.

What does it say when Husky ****cans all of it's gravity drainage projects west of the Alberta border and goes ahead with them in Saskatchewan? Steady political climate...

So what happened with all our signatures today? Let me guess: nothing.

They have not been presented yet as more showed up on Tuesday that had to be counted and notarized, we know that these are not binding on the Majority NDP and it is up to the LG she is the only one that can overrule the NDP. As it stands they all went in the back door at last count I have seen was somewhere in the neighbourhood of 181.000 signatures.
So I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to sign the petitions and by doing so it shows that Albertans have the right to be heard. P.S Will post updates as they become available.

If all provinces had more control over there Taxation Revenue there would be no need for equalization payments at all. Also that is a very nice thought to have them payback but highly unlikely as we know it. The East could care less all they ever wanted was to make big money out west then go home and not even spend any here in Alberta. Sad things is now all the small buisnesses are feeling the pinch with all new Government policies being implemented. These clowns have no clue what economic policy is or how to go about it.

I have to voice my concern for having 3 right wing parties. Or is this a Federal party? If it is an alternative to Wildrose then it will never work and we will have another 4 years of new dumbacrats.

The CBC got 675 million. Good job CBC, most people still believe the crap you spew out.. is truthful. And remember no need to worry a budget will balance itself.

As it stands right now IMO we have 1 right wing party and no representation in Ottawa without this we are Governed by Ottawa and Ottawa has the final say. I will not support the WRP as I heard Brian Jean himself say that he is not oppose to the Carbon Tax. Also the ABP will not support recall and am sure Greg Clark will not oppose a carbon tax either. Well the there is the PC,s just a bunch of Libtards in PC clothing. Without proper representation in Ottawa or sovereignity as a independent nation we are fawked. With all these career politicians pandering to ethnics/special interest groups/lobbyists we are soon gonna become a welfare state with nothing. The thing is that a lot of people think this is a democracy and really it is not it's a pseudo democracy and we are all paying for it. What we need is a direct democracy in Alberta for Albertans as it stands now it is not and you and I are paying for it dearly. Everyman woman and child just sent 5000$ to Ottawa by 2020 that will be 20,000 with little coming back to us. I know and respect your viewpoint Dave but unless the WRP has some major platform promises like (sensible recall, referendums, no carbon tax for absolutely sure they will not be getting my vote. And with a welfare state on the horizon we need a party that is gonna work for Albertans therefore I will support the Alberta Freedom Party in there continuing efforts to get some blood on the scene, not these same ole same ole parties that say and then stab u in the back. Have A Nice Easter:)
