Yeah, IMO, experience > books (or the internet for that matter).

Learn to drive through a traffic circle properly. Nothing pisses me off more than watching people do it wrong....and there are many that have no clue what to do.

Aren't those silly things only in Edmonton?
Good advice. But going through a traffic circle properly requires nothing more then common sense and/or grade 2 reading comprehension. The signs say how the hell you go though. Fawk it's so simple shows how pathetic a lot of drivers are.
But yes, be careful and take your time. Being someone who works on the side of the road it would sure be nice if some people knew how to drive and were respectful.
The road test is stupidly easy though. Pay attention to signs for double turning lanes, etc (they will try to catch you going to wrong lane), and keeping proper speed. Will fail if you go to slow.
thanks for all the good advice!!
you know how much i am on this site right?........................thats how much i am sudying for the test!
trying to pack in as much knowledge as possible!
I don't know about Ontario but here in Alberta, you can go to the motor vehicle branch and get a little booklet with all the the information that you will need to successfully pass the written part of your drivers examination. Now granted it has been quite some time since I have written so this booklet may no longer be available, Like Summitric said PM Junior Himark he may be able to give you some valuable pointers.
Also don't stop when merging onto a highway, like most people do around Sherwood park, coming off the overpasses. I have seen quite a few people get rearended cause they stop and wait for traffic to break up instead of speeding up to merge into flowing traffic!
you must be falling behind in the joey posts he dosen't live in maynooth anymore and maybe watch your mouth as i now a few around there and they may want to come out and visit you. deliverance style.

but I do agree with the merge thing...and the traffic circle thing.... as well
KEEP RIGHT EXCEPT TO PASS

Just sayin...
