not to thrilled with polaris's lack of ability to fix reverse problems on an 06 700 rmk......seriously considering trading it on a new 09 summit 800. I would be very appreciative of any info regarding problems with this machine. TX

My opinion, 08 thru 10 800 -doo is overall best bang for the buck. 09's had all the updates done, 08's with all factory updates are working very well.

Agreed. The 09 with a different helix is a great mountain machine out of the box.

I've put the DJ clutch kit in and a can on it and the only problem I've had in 600 miles is trying to keep the yellow some what clean. Oh and the stupid gas gauge doesn't seem to work right and the altimator is off by about 500 feet....exactly...who cares.

I have two 09's and one 08 and I can tell you that I have had nothing go wrong with them. Combined mileage on all three 5000 miles. Great sleds. :perfect10:

I have a love-hate relationship with my 08 154. It is the most fun sled I have ever ridden, soaks up the bumps and climbs well. On the other hand I have 1600 miles and have rebuilt the primary 3 times, the pull cord 2, lost one piston to a melt down, had my crank break in half, handle bar warmers quit, 3 belts in the first 300 miles and I am still in love with it and am thinking of a 2010 xp because my warranty just ran out. I must be a sick fellow with a mental disorder but I just can't help liking it. Although a 2010 m8 is also a choice for my next one if I can stay on my meds long enough to get the xp out of my brain.
