Have stayed at the Best Western and the Premiere Mountain Lodge. Best Western is nice, but its a ways outside of town. You have to drive to supper, to fuel, to get snacks. If you want to have a few drinks, you'll be driving back to the hotel or taxiing it. Premiere is so so. Not high end nor the lowest. Big parking lot, cheap and old. If you're looking for a roof over your head, its the place.

We have rode Clemina and Allen. Both are great places. Renshaw is towards Mcbride, which is 85 km away. 30 km of groomed trail before you hit the cabin.
Then theres Blue River, south of Vale 91km.

Chalet Continental is a good place, clean, comfortable and a good owner that makes it personal. It has a restaurant next door and good parking.

The Best Western has a gate they lock and drive a truck in front of. They have a lounge, restaurant, and a hot tub. They also will take you into town with their courtesy van. You just call them when you want to be picked up, free of charge. Sledders also get the third night free as well.

Every time we stay there. Been staying there for seven years. We usually are there Tuesday night and leave Friday. Maybe it's a weekly thing. Never been there on a weekend.

Stayed at the Super 8 last February. Good parking around the back for trailers, and they have an agreement with the owner next door for trailer overflow. Was well lit and never had any problems, though can be a bit of a maze if you're one of the first ones out in the morning. Hot tub was more of a dude stew than anything so didn't partake, but rooms were decent and there is a great fireplace and sitting area in the lobby. Easy walk to several downtown restaurants. We'd go back.

The Best Western is the newest hotel in town, however they are probably the most expensive. The Super8 is far better for the price and is centrally located. No need to drive anywhere for the evening. The gate at the Best Western doesn't seem to deter thieves, I heard that they have a lot of issues with crime there.

And if you can beat him at ping pong he will give you a free night. Plus I've seen him sweep snow off every vehicle in his lot early in the morning.

Have stayed at the premier many times. Older but well priced. Ramada is the other one we have stayed at many times. It is now the Canada best value inn so we will see what that is like this weekend.

No parking for truck and trailers anymore on the road, good place if you just have a sled deck

Just came back from 2 nights at the Ramada/Canada Value whatever. Newly renovated clean and friendly. Continental breakfast or walk to the great escape. Hot tub too.
