When I purchased my 08XPX154ES from Mr.R's in beautiful downtown Milo, I went all out with the accessories.

Included were SuperClamps, front and back for two sleds. What a difference from the straps and the screw clamps! I was a happy camper!

Last spring going up to Koko Claims over the rocks and chit, the hook on one of the rear clamps broke. Lo' and behold, Mr.R's, brothers Don and Randell (from SupoerClamp) replaced the broken plastic hook with a nice shiny aluminum one free of charge.

Yep, the "best little shop on the prairies!" Thanks guys!

Last winter in the Boulder parking lot in Revy I was parked beside a truck and trailer that had the super clamp decals all over it (including the sleds) I started talking to the fellow telling him how great his products are (i run front and rear clamps) He noticed that two of my clamps had the plastic hooks and replaced them right on the spot with the aluminum ones. He had a large box with just the new style hooks:eek: Glad mine were changed before they broke going down the highway:beer:

Randall Bowman is a great guy and an "super" rep, he's by my store 3 times a week, he really stands behind his product. Also he makes killer BBQ beef on a bun.:d:d

The little hook on the SuperClamp that hooks to the steel hook apparatus on the deck. The original hook was plastic and now they are made of aluminum. Hope that is understandable.....

How old are your superclamps that they had a plastic hook? I would think that a plastic hook would snap as soon as you tensioned the clamp. One of mine is an extruded aluminum peice and the other is a welded steel hook, but the second one used.

I'd like to say "as old as dirt" but you know that would be a fabrication.....only 2 years old from my date of purchase.
