Been testing out various prototypes of an ABS wireless bar mount system, here is a sneak peak!
Seems like a good idea. Are you testing for interference with beacons?
Hhhmmmm, don't know about that, for a number of reason's, thank's for sharing though. Its an option, i guess.
Excellent post!!! Care to elaborate?

Some great thoughts, just so you know on this day we just zap strapped the unit to the sled for video, we did not mount it fixed as you can where it would not move or need to be looked at to push it. The reason for holding it for 3 seconds is to eliminate accidental deployment, remember you can still pull the handle on the wireless, the push button just offers you another choice, especially for those who think they are going to out run an avy doing full throttle then pull their left hand off the bars and deploy their air big....if you think you will then I offer you try riding a dirt bike fast through the whoops on your local track and in the middle take your left hand off the bars and pull your air bag...
On signal interference, it is easy to avoid this, companies like gopro, cell phone companies, gps don't test for signal interference with avy beacons because it is a small percentage of their users, but winter sports companies do and ABS has since I have used the wireless system without incident for 3.5 years..
Any air bag can be set off accidentally which is why you should always have a spare canister or canister and handle(with abs) in your truck or with you on a trip or at least one between your group.
Plus letting someone else make the decision on when to blow it off.

Dunno if first off I'd trust it to work , with interference with beacons ect.
