A war between US and Iran?

What is the likelihood of a war between US and Iran. Tensions are building since the drone was shot down, and with all the activity on oil barges lately.

I agree it’s not a war that can be won. No war in the Middle East can be won in my opinion. What can happen however is Iran can be bombed into the stone ages by a far superior force. When Saddam invaded Kuwait and mocked the Americans he made the statement that the US couldn’t match his powerful ground forces and Revolutionary Guard. After 2 weeks of the Gulf War commencing his army went from the 4th largest mechanized army in the world to the 27th. The US airforce pounded them into submission and Saddams famed elite Guard was crawling out of their holes surrendering to US forces enmasse. These 3rd world dictators are so out of touch when it comes to where they stand in the food chain.

I didn't say I want war but only suggested what could happen. Personally I say leave the middle East alone and let them kill each other off. They love to fight for Islam. Defend Israel to the death. Unfortunately they want to enrich uranium and built intercontinental missiles so you have to respond. You can't let them hold that over our heads for the rest of our lives can you?

Israels problems are the same as ours when it comes to Muslim extremism, theirs is just more immediate and closer in proximity. The only thing preventing another holocaust against the Jewish people this time at the hands of the Muslim world is the military strength of the Israelis and the willingness to use it to defend themselves.
