It's all an educational process; that dream trip can be arranged! You just have to meet our times; 5:00 pm departure and maybe a 2:00 or 5:00 am return depending on conditions.

Great job grooming, made it back to the truck in record time - wasn't late for dinner!

Without grooming the trail is unrideable. I would do a whole lot more than $10 worth of wear to my sled in the first 1km if there was no grooming...

How many passes of the trail did you do on Friday? I passed you on the way out late afternoon on Friday and it was still pretty bumpy where the cat had been, but it looks awesome in that vid. My buddy said it was record time on Saturday.

First of all, hope you bought your trail pass both days! Available at the GearHub and Ghostrider Motorsports.

Generally we only doo 2 passes; 1 up and 1 down. Yes, if we can't cut because there is ice below without much snow on top or if the snow is slushy and packing in the mogul master (as opposed to flowing through) we can't cut them all out. Also, when it is wet and mushy, the blade just rolls out big balls; then they freeze and bite the h*ll out of your machine. The other thing that happens is when it is not freezing, as it was Friday in the valley bottom, the snow that is dropped in between the moguls doesn't have time to "set-up" or freeze and it is pounded out with the first sled. I just hate it when I come back down and see all the tracks on the freshly groomed trail; you gotta give it time to freeze so that it will be baby butt smooth in the morning.

The other side or the ungroomed side on the way down isn't that rough but oh I guess you wanna get on that smooth part 'cause you paid the big $10!!

We can't groom a slushy; they are only for drinking!

Thanks Drink. I was actually disappointed in the "award winning" Sicamous grooming. They doo work with warmer temperatures than we doo so that in itself is a problem.

Another young guy in a hurry? When we didn't have grooming we still rode and didn't bust our machines up. Mind you they were made of steel in those days, hahaha!! Slow and easy, enjoyed the scenery and still enjoyed the beer at the end of the day.

Ya trails arn't groomed so you can get down in record time. They are groomed to make it easier on machines and our old backs. The young generation is spoiled today. Groomed trail is a privalage not annecessity

Just because you made it down in record time doesn't mean you are in a hurry or we are spoiled. We buy memberships and trail passes to support the trail system, just like anyone else. Just because I'm part of the 'young generation' doesn't mean I'm out there destroying my sled, knees and back going 80kph on the bumps.

Normally, I am bringing it back to the center so the trail stays longer in the spring. The clip with the blade full was from a corner where the sleds push the snow to the outside and it was quite banked. I was bringing it back and making the trail/corner a little flatter. With all the snow we have it is actually fun building the trail and keeping it flat.

A real struggle with warm weather this year and it is hard for riders to understand the process so they complain. Thanks for the accolades.
