today at gorman was off the hook epic hero snow ...

both my sled and I defy gravity ...

the sun slowly started to give luv ...

I saw a total of 7 other sledz all day ...

this alpine area was all ourz all day ...
well we didnt actually get there til afternoon ... hehe ...

and a day riding with me would not be complete without a mandatory slide or 2 ...

Is there ever a mandatory slide in Gorman? Haven't been there since 99'. Half the mountain came down on a poor soul from Cochrane. 30 ft deep at the bottom toe of the slide. I would be careful about "slides in Death Valley". Just sayn..

He can be your hero then. I myself, don't think it's kewl when I see a post of someone thinking it's normal to trigger avalanches on a daily basis... See the pic with the total wind loaded slope?? Unfortunately he may be a statistic someday.

definately not my hero and he may die someday, but he is doing what he likes to do and i don't see anyone else in danger so its his choice.
to say the slope is not rideable from a pic is arm chair forecasting. people do and can ride slopes like that when they have first hand long term knowledge of the conditions.
if this was in a managed area with other users that may get caught unknowingly then yes uncool i agree but its not so why get your shorts in a knot?
every sled and ski movie has shots of guys riding slopes that are ripping out or look ready to go, whats the difference here?
it's cool that chris brown hucks his sled off 50' cliffs right? is that not taking a really big chance at death as well?
this thread shows how much the guy loves to ride on snow, if ya don't like it don't open it up. simple.
