Maybe next year. I had one of the 500$ top of the line GoPro's, lost it in the woods.... Now I have the 150$ GoPro Hero.

Too easy to loose for me to spend big bucks on them.
Thats the same one I have. Hero - Naked. (That will prompt even more pervy chatter from the boys) Not sure how tech savvy you with the camera, but if you change the aspect ratio to r4. My neck will be happy.
Here is a link to the owners manual.... or you can just tell me to piss off and make my own videos LOL

Skeg, changing aspect ratio is one option. But why not simply recommend he tilt the camera upwards?

Having POV is nice with the sled front included, as well tall enough that tipping the camera up will not be required. Just having experimented with action cameras mounted on just about everyplace imaginable. Takes a ton of work screening footage to put together 5 mins of video that is worthy of watching. My lesson learned about r5 vs. r4.

Has anyone tried mounting a gopro on the rear bumper?

I must have an older model. R4 isn't an option on mine. It has 1080 30fps, 720s-60fps and 720-60fps
I use 1080-30fps. Looks like you might have to make ur own. lol

I could probably do that one. haha

Dan have you ever seen the LIC goggle cams? I picked one up for less than 200 bucks a couple years ago and it actually takes some pretty decent videos. The beauty of it is the lens very close to the same angle that your eyes see so it gives you a great perspective. No wifi on mine (don't want wifi anyways as it messes with beacon) it has a blinking LED light inside the goggle and big buttons on the outside so you can start filming with gloves on. Way easier to just turn it on for a couple minutes at a time and have lots of small clips. Here is a little clip... This was the first time using it so that's why I have the visor in there.

Went out with Dunny today, over the handlebar snow on some of the Decends. Even did a new 2km trail drop that Id never done before, It was sick! GoPro footage from that is screwed cause the lense was covered in Ice.

Here is a little clip, I start out with the old angle, then adjust it part way through and looks kinda cool.
