Went riding with Garret and his Bro today. Last time I rode with Garret he broke my foot.

I don't hold a grudge, so when they asked to go sledding with me today I said ok,,

But I took them to some places for them to trash their sleds,,, haha paybacks a bitch. JK kinda...

I'm a nice guy though, so I help them get thier chit off the hill...lol Good guys, had a fun day. Not ready for these trees though.

Went to Eagles today with Garret and his Bro and was going to Meet up with Kelsey and crew at the Cabin at lunch time.
So just riding the Burn above one of the lakes and I was doing climb up a big tree'd hill. About a 1500ft Climb to the top from the lake.
Took me 5mins to Climb it. Get to the top, shut off my sled, go to start it again and the recoil housing was completely fawked again!
Kinda panicking now because Im way up on this fawking hill, nobody I was with would be able to make it to me and its a long
hike out!

So I try to pull start it with the emergency rope off the primary clutch, It fires up& Im stoked.
Chits grinding around in the housing and last time it took out my trigger coil(not good)

But I still got to find these other 2 guys, So I track them down and tell them Im heading out cause I dont
want to shut this thing off now. So they are going to follow me to the cabin to make sure I make it.

Problem is they couldn't keep up to me,, I did donuts at the cabin for 10mins, but they never showed.
So I feel bad,, but I ditched. If they would have had radio's could have told them,, but they don't have chit.

Sent Kelsey and Walley into find them,, but Ive pretty much had it with "sledders" without a 2way.....

so Golden tomorrow to fix this thing again.... Oh man.... #downdayzsuck

Heres a clip of the climb(part of it) Camera was pointed at the ground,, but too bad coulda been some good footage...

Oh well.

Do you feel any engine vibration? Too much crank run-out or a worn primary clutch might be shaking the !@#$ out of your motor causing these problems.

No more than usual,, the etec always kinda shakes. The bottom end was just serviced and the clutch was rebuilt at the beginning of the season.

But who knows, that could be the problem. Hope not, see what they say tomorrow, hopefully its a quick fix.

Blizzarding in Revy right now!!

What is it with guys riding without radios? They have the trucks, the new sleds, all the klim or motorfist gear, but not a $70 radio. Makes no sense to me. Our group uses our radios every ride. Of course trying to chase JMCX and Oler1234, a couple of us need the radios every ride. The BCA Link is the best $2 bills I have spent to date. HEading to Revy in this weekend, may see you on the hill. Cheers

I agree. I will not ride without a garmin rino. When everyone in the group has one it makes the ride so much better.
100 %

First time I went real tree riding with some guys in griffin

They all had rhinos, I had just a Motorola

I was 70 feet from them in a tree well and it took them a hour to find me

Got a rhino for the next ride, still have that 120 I use to this day

I have one it it has been great so far. I've gotten 10 miles out if the stock antenna here in AB. Haven't had any issues talking to other riders in the mountains.
Plus you can talk to the loggers if you need to.
