Anyone in town have some gr 8 threaded rod ? 2 nylocs and your in business till bolt comes in and can change out

Yeah I don't know man the 2.5in tracks seem to have a hard time keeping up with me? I'm embarassing LOTS of boosted sleds this season too.

I'm sure you are a way better rider than us though.....

Hey, thanks for the response. But even though I have been riding in the mountains for the past 30 years, I am an average rider at best. I guess life (family,work) has just got in the way too many times.

I do agree that the t3 is a great sled, actually an amazing sled with the right rider. I'm also not surprised that a few boosted sleds were embarassed along the way. I had a chance to put some time on a fugly yellow t3 from the US and it really handled well, had tons of traction, was well balanced. I do think there is some room for improvement on the clutching side, it didn't get to or hold rpm nearly as well as my old 2013.

I agree about it holding RPM, thats why I geared mine down. Way better now. Thanks for your feed back.

Well the bolt wasn't going to get here till tomorrow and I want this sled mobile, so I went and got some ready rod.
But then when I took out the bolt I decided it wasn't to bad and just straightened it out(should of done that yesterday)
Gotter all put back togther, good to go!

Also I decided to put on a can, cause that stock one is too bulky and a PITA when you need to work on the sled on the Mountain.
Plus its a heavy azz Boat anchor...lol I Liked the quietness, but fawk it.

And now that I have a can, she's a full on mod sled!! Haha

Ps: if any one wants a stock can it's in the dumpster....

Hope they put some packing in that TSS can. I had one of those on my 01 mountain cat and it may as well been straight piped.

The tss can on my xp is retarded loud.

I really like Al and Pete and the Sled Shed crew, but the cooker can has been causing my friends problems
this year on the T3 and I got this can for cheap. My friend has one(TSS can) on his T3 and it doesn't sound too bad.:beer:

One more lil problem I have with my T3 is when I'm landing Jumps or drops my riser folds forward till the bars are touching the hood.

Fawkin scetchy! I tighten them up till the bolts feel like they are as tight as they'll go...

Any recomendations on after market risers that clamp tighter???

Grind the clamp down a bit, then it holds the bars tighter

Also make sure that the 1/2's are clean and bars are clean of metal, as they tend to jam up and then the grip part still moves

My freeride is the same......downhill hit to bars on hood to downhill deccent sucks.....lol

Thanks! I like that one too. I always have lots of people asking me to come for rides and I'm flattered that so many people want to come ride.
But what I really need is someone that likes to take pictures and that is good at it(taking pics) That would help me out lots.

I started taking action shots of my friends, but Its hard to take pics of myself and Kallon has ADD so getting him to take em isn't easy...lol

Be cautious of your wiring harness where it routes through the bottom of the riser. I've seen one or two that sheared it off when the bars were folded forward. Just a heads up.

It was mentioned above to clean the riser and the t post. Scuff it a bit with emery or sandpaper just to clean up any shavings etc from them moving then I use a screw driver or scribe and put some lines across t post and in riser. Helps grip so you don't get the folded over bars
