You ditch banged the whole way? I’m from Camrose, and I’ve always wanted to ditch bang 21 north to Edmonton or even the oasis Esso on 21 for lunch. Looks like great fun to others while I'm cruising north warmly on my way to the city lol, just never ever done it.
Gainford to Edson is a quick rip for me. When we get snow I love ditch banging. It could be hard on belts pushing Sled to do 50 mile an hour in deep snow like that. And it keeps on you’re a game dodging posts culverts and frozen dead **** LOL

Got that right. Alberta cold. Definitely stay off the rivers at 30 below. Would be 35 below or colder in the valleys. I ride the Pembina lots at -10 but when you get it on the river it feels like -20

I grew up in Camrose, used to ride to the bars in Hay lakes, New Sarepta, Round Hill, New Norway. Rides down the Battle river to Coal Lake were awesome.

That's why my dad started taking us to the mountains in 96, before that we used to ditch bang all over alberta. Rode from red deer to leduc one time!
We used to do the same in sask, ride from saskatoon to whiteswan lake, 250km by highway, half ditch bang half field and river ride, used to be tons of snow the whole way

Rides down the battle river to coal lake eh?!! I can imagine you’ve likely stopped in at “the shack” a handful of times along the way? Just off 21. I’m sure that’s enough said if you’ve been. Probably seen you there if you’ve been. I was apart of the Shacks instalment in the early 90’s. It was interesting.

Drove in white out for 4 hours, road was supposedly going to be open for 1pm, i think its finally open but i got sick of waiting, now bunked up at Marys motel, shower doesn't work, cant find any delivery in Golden, probably not allowed in River house any more, but maybe theyd let me in and maybe i should try cause currently eating micro waved hot dogs with no condiments..

Damn near ready to pull the plug, but will try to set sail for Revy in the AM....
