I had to work so I was not able to go out riding yesterday. My neighbor and his son took my daughter out for the day. She's on a new to her 2012 which is a lot different than her old 2004 and she found out the hard way these new machine tip way easier.
To make a long story short she's not entirely sure what happened. Caught an edge or just wasn't balancing the sled enough but she went over and down an embankment. She has a pretty nasty bruise on her leg and we will see how she is feeling today if it warrants a trip to the doctor to have a look at it.
The reason for this message is I want to send out a huge THANK YOU to my neighbor, his son and all that helped last night.
A hand come along was located (and needs to be returned) from someone camping in the parking lot. Riders stopped by and assisted making sure to get my daughter back to the truck safe so she could drive to get cell service to inform me all was ok but it was going to be a late night.
To the others that stopped and helped pull the sled back up on the trail, used oil from their machine to put some in my daughters machine (Rolled over and broke the filler cap, all oil drained out as it was upside down) which was in vain because the throttle was snapped off so needed to be towed and hand lifted onto the trailer, I sincerely thank you! It makes me feel proud to be amongst a bunch of enthusiast that would go over and above to help out a fellow rider as I would when called upon.
I hope I have not missed anyone and if I did please feel free to speak up as you deserve a pat on the back.
AGAIN THANK YOU!!!!!!
