Seeing as Riverjet is a shameless red commie he seems to sled, fish, hunt, quad, and jetboat all of which are very un-green/non commie behaviour so there may be hope for him yet. I think the issue is that his pay cheque most likely comes from the gov't or some other union stronghold.

I dont understand how anyone can support of centre-left party these days after watching the economic chaos by socialist governments around the globe. You can only have so many civil servants/union jobs to go around and eventually private enterprises need to thrive to keep economies growing.

and you can only give so much money away to every crying minority group and not listen to the majority so long before people don't vote for you anymore... the 90's the NDP almost sunk us... 3 terms with three diff leaders all BS all screwed us... I liked watching that Dix guy... up front he was better leader on the air then Christy... she just doesn't protray leader... people voted for a party not her... but with Dix i think his past forgery issues sunk him oh and the NDP's history of big gov't and taxes to pay for everyone that doesn 't want to work or feels they deserve more then the rest... I am glad BC remembers that

I am the opposite about Dix. When he got caught for not paying his skytrain fare last year really showed me his true colours (amongst other issues). I rode that train for 6 years about 20 years ago and my wife and I would dig deep into our pockets to find every nickel/dime/quarter we had so I could get to work every day. I never not paid. This guy makes over $150,000 a year and is the leader of a political party and doesnt bother to pay his fare. That is BS. Does he think the government should pay for this service?

That's the funny part. The media thought Dix won the debate hands down. I watched that debate and the only reason the media said, "Dix won" was because they were all behind him. They were not objective. Ms. Clark is a fast thinker and a good speaker and she stays the course. IMHO, she won that debate hands down. My ol' colleague Mr. Cummings was way out of touch as was the Green Party. Dix, well he has proven twice he is a sleeze bag and it goes to show the lack of professionalism within the ranks of the NDP when they chose him as leader. Didn't they think his past would come back to haunt them. A lot of people won't admit it or even go there but I think it is true. I wouldn't want a person like that leading my province.

I watched the election results with Chris Gallis, Deborah Hope, and that parliamentary reporter dude. The Liberals were leading all night and all they could say was "it is early" and wait for the advanced polls as that will swing the tide. They are all totally behind the NDP and so entrenched in Unions that they can't be objective. The news reporters in BC reek of NDPism.

I am very happy that the Liberals have a majority government and I can see myself maybe staying another 4 years.......HeeHaw!
