'97 670 not starting

Hi,
I've got a '97 670 that won't start. It's always had top of the line oil and gas, new plugs... had spark on the first pull and now a I can't see any. When it was starting it would drive fine for about 10-15 feet then at full throttle would not move, then would drive fine again for 10 feet. Finally it just died and I can't get it going at all. (although after letting it sit for a bit it will usually almost start on the first pull.)
What kind of electrical am I looking at... is there a fuse somewhere or possible cut/ burnt line?
Thanks

if this is a Summit 670, then I would consider new fuel, cleaning and syncing the carbs and letting it warm up for a bit. Maybe new plugs too. Have you checked compression?

Yeah - what KORE said. Check carbs and fuel lines and vacuum line and then check compression. IF all is OK then go to electrical. Start with plugs and wires and coil, then maybe stator. Sounds like it might be a coil. Broken wire in the coil will get hot and separate, coil loses continuity. ONce it cools, the wire contracts and touches again, then starts and gets hot again and expands and separates.
