900 RZR Engine question

So I am in the market for a used SXS and I see a lot of the 900RZR's have new engines in them. Is there and issue with the 900? Not bashing just wondering why this is? Its the SXS that I am most interested in but don't want a machine with perpetual problems.

I would say the main issue resulting in the new engines is the air filter. If it is not installed correctly and sealed off it allows dust into the engine.
Most people use a light coating of grease on the filter where is seals against the air box.

Or they have swamped it. As far as the 900 engine goes it's pretty good! But no engine like water and dust.
