Today is the seventh anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people and changed our world forever.

I mourn the innocent victims of the attacks.
I mourn the innocent who were injured or died in the many ongoing battles of the war.
I mourn the losses suffered by the forces of Freedom waging the war.
But most of all, I mourn the apathetic and surrender-minded among us, for they have every access and cannot grasp Freedom.
For those of us remaining, I celebrate, as on Independence Day ( 4th of July ), the honorable, those with integrity, the Freedom that we must cherish and protect at all cost.

Unfortunately we will be dealing with this for many years to come. God Bless those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in this ongoing war. As both Canada and the U.S. are heading into an election it is very important for everone who votes is to ask themselves who will be the best leader to lead us through this time of war. And make to bones about it we are at war!!!!

A shame for sure, still remember hearing it on the radio that morning, then watching it on tv that day. Didn't seem real at all.
no doubt, a horrible tragedy. we were moving a drilling rig that morning west of Rycroft, kicked off our loads on the lease and went and sat in the lounge watching it on tv over and over....just seemed too incredible to be real. then we went and moved another rig...

Unbelievable that a culture with such extreme religious beliefs would act out to kill thousands of innocent people. As of that day it was proof to the world that nobody is safe. It is really kind of sad.
Here is to the Men and Women that gave there lives trying to save the innocent.
And another for the people that still do:beer:
