Today is the seventh anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people and changed our world forever.
9/11
I mourn the innocent victims of the attacks.
I mourn the innocent who were injured or died in the many ongoing battles of the war.
I mourn the losses suffered by the forces of Freedom waging the war.
But most of all, I mourn the apathetic and surrender-minded among us, for they have every access and cannot grasp Freedom.
For those of us remaining, I celebrate, as on Independence Day ( 4th of July ), the honorable, those with integrity, the Freedom that we must cherish and protect at all cost.
no doubt, a horrible tragedy. we were moving a drilling rig that morning west of Rycroft, kicked off our loads on the lease and went and sat in the lounge watching it on tv over and over....just seemed too incredible to be real. then we went and moved another rig...A shame for sure, still remember hearing it on the radio that morning, then watching it on tv that day. Didn't seem real at all.
