Good point though, does BRP do winter product testing somewhere else in the summer months?

Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!

No.
If they had, there would be no mass blowing of Belts, dented drive shafts, bunk electrical harnesses and a bunch of of other stuff.
The consumer is the tester and gets to pay $15,000+ for that privilege. As a bonus, the consumer gets the headache of begging for warranty and downtime.

But now, Brp is king and can’t be dethroned. I hope there will be some opportunity for aftermarket trinkets on the new chassis.

Brp is the way.

The consumer is the tester but they get to pay 20g’s for the test unit. As a bonus, the consumer gets the headache of begging for warranty and downtime.

Yep, after 3 years of blowing belts, motors, chronic issues and peed off customers they figured it out! Great job! Pat on to the back! Bravo, bravo!
Now to just get that dumb wheelie monster chassis to vacate the premises and a new chassis with a turbo, Brp might have something.

In case y’all forgot about the 17,18,19 g4 issues, ask yourself why Brp dealers have 100 or more belts on display. Haha I laugh everytime I see the employees bragging about how great the g4 is but then there is $25,000 worth of belts behind them! If the g4 is so great, why so many belts in stock? Never used to be a wall of belts. Why now? Bahahahaha! It is very ironic and humorous.

That being said, I gotta get my digs in now cuz Brp gonna have some good chit soon. They got they butts chewed over the g4 numerous problems, people quit, people left with their heads down and some heads rolled. Ya gotta fail to become better!

Ski Doo has always been the leader, Polaris and Arctic Cat follows, and yes when you lead there will be problems it`s always like that for leaders of any type.
just like Polaris and Cat will follow Ski Doo in making a factory Turbo, it`s only a matter of time, so instead of bashing Ski Doo people should be thanking Ski Doo
for their leading and changing the industry and making all brands better for us the buyers what ever brand you like and ride.

All of the manufacturers have provided new tech over the years, be it slide rail suspension, independent front suspension, electronic fuel injection, etc, etc, which has created better machines from all as a result - not a BRP specific thing. Marketing (or the lack of it) can also help make or break a new model, as can reliability issues. Brand loyalists will always wave their flag and overlook faults to save face - no one wants to admit they made a poor purchase decision...

2017- g4- 5000km. never replaced the belt yet. might be best to adjust the air intake to cool your belt, BRP didn;t think of that one...Best stock sled on market hands down

Oh yeah- still using the original belt before the belt mods- oh and I don;t puss around on the throttle
