I ride with this guy almost every time out and I can testify that what he is running is the ****. It hangs with my 174 @ 7lbs all day long and then some. homemade turbo kit running stock injectors and his own fuel management. Was with him for the dialing in and the clutching last year too. The real deal.

Here yea go since I am being called out ;)

Boost wise I am not sure, I don’t run any gauges but last time I checked it was at 5.5psi. Turbo is a 2871 ball bearing. This year running 50/50mix with av gas. I built it as a low low mount to keep center of gravity down. External wastegate let’s me go as low as 3psi. If I did that again I would run a water cooled version. I’m sure I mentioned somewhere along the line that when this was originally installed it was on a motor with 10000km, since then I rebuilt it last season.

Oler1234 can you actually pull fuel from the stock mapping. Or just add fuel?
I plan on having an 860 xm with twin pipes running in the near future. Really unsure what direction is best to go with fuel management.

To answer the question .... Yes Dave from RedLine supplies Speedwerx his new SIC Series Box for the Supercharger he also supplies Force Turbos with his Box as well and they all rip...

No you cannot remove fuel from the stock mapping. To be honest you don’t want to, the stock etec map in sections run up to 17-18 on the afr. You want to add, it will really respond back.

you best bet is a interceptor. You will not need a secondary system, by no means will that setup yield more than factory for mountain riding. The stock system will supply up to 95lbs/min of fuel, roughly 195hp.

Good info. I agree with you ,I will probably have to add fuel through out the map. From everyone’s jetting specs on the 860r everyone was shimming the needle up and upsizing main jets. Talked to a certain pipe builder a couple years back to see if they ever sold any sets of twins. Got told they didn’t and that they couldn’t get the midrange cleaned up, as they couldn’t cut fuel.

I picked up a set of 860R jaws twins, from a member on here. Will hopefully get bungs welded on them and fitted over Christmas. I also know how lean they run, have been running an air fuel gauge for last two seasons adding small bolt on stuff one piece at a time on a stock bore engine. Will hopefully get my bigbore jugs back before Christmas as well!
