Try a 377 Ski-Doo belt, I've put 2800 km on one on my 165. Seems to be working, haven't modified anything, haven't drilled holes anywhere, or removed felt lining. So far, so good!
Put the Carlisle or gates on and your problems will be gone, doo belts are garbage..
your one of the better ones to get 1000km, ussally more like 100km
Thats what comes on them...?
Fred, it depends on how hard one rides as to belt life expectancy!!!

yah 1000km is not great but its not aweful. I am used to getting 2000-2500 on the XM. and even then they never grenade just start pulling cords or wearing out. this was extremely violent and happened as a less than ideal time LOL
Belts that I blew in the past you could ussally have cords and strings slowly comming apart, giving you a ticking noise or hear actual pieces of belt breaking off or vibration, but this belt was just like a greande going off, echoed in the valley they said, still finding chunks imbedded in sled
Baking & Sledding go hand in hand ......... :d
