Check your 850's belt deflection because they are most likely out and starting off in 3rd gear.

My set screw for the secondary will not stay tight. Rode 2 days with no issues but on the third day it must've come loose 2-3 times. Ive never had this issue on a polaris before so im going to put some blue locktite on it and hope it stays in.

You mean the secondary bolt, or the nut and set screw to set belt deflection? If for the deflection,.. it's a slotted locking nut just remove the nut and bolt and take apart. Use some needle nose pliers to crimp the nut a little bit.

yeah way to loose if its riding there.

It's about 1.5in deflection at the 3rd picture, I set mine like I did my XM, bottom of cog level with edge of secondary. Gives close to the 1.25in spec,.. IMO the first picture is way too high.

My 18 does it as well. AS mentioned, it helps to crimp the nut.

Mine was way out... I questioned the dealer and they had to contact Polaris because they did know what is was supposed to be... Lol great pdi worth the money, I set it like all other Polaris sleds I've owned and as per the manual...
