85 Honda XR200

Picked up a 85 Honda XR 200 with a toasted engine, was told this model year they oil starvation problems?, anyone out there had the same problem? Does anyone know if I can transplant a larger 250 powerplant in there?. I picked this up for a project machine and to use out at my son's acreage. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

i would think you could put a 250 in there just try and find one.

My good buddy had an 84 XR 200 and that thing ate oil like crazy, but he never really kept it for very long for me to tell you any other details. But its an old Honda.... Bulletproof.
